Project Pack The Place General Overview

One important component of the "I'm Stepping Up" campaign is called "Project Pack the Place!" Project Pack the Place is an initiative to increase community vibrancy, generate enthusiasm for the great entertainment venues of our region and boost the regional economy.
Businesses, groups and organizations throughout the region will be encouraged to step up in 2010 by purchasing blocks of tickets for their employees, volunteers, friends and family at four great events throughout the year including the Peoria Chiefs, Wildlife Prairie State Park, Peoria Symphony Orchestra, and the Peoria Rivermen.
The first Pack the Place event will take place May 2nd as the Peoria Chiefs take on the Clinton Lumberkings at 1:00PM. Kids will eat free (one hot dog & one soda per child 12 & under), Disney characters will be at the game, all participants will receive a Project Pack the Place t-shirt and participating businesses and organizations will be recognized via announcements and signage throughout the park. We are asking you purchase a block of 20 or more tickets at $8 each for this event. Tickets are available through the Peoria Chief's 309-680-4000 ext 0. Be sure to say Pack The Place when ordering your block of tickets.
Look for other Project Pack the Place events at Wildlife Prairie State Park in July, Peoria Symphony Orchestra in September and the Peoria Rivermen in December!
