One of the most exciting and rewarding experiences for a small business in the Peoria Metro Region is to be recognized with this award. The recipients are small businesses that demonstrate stability, innovation, commitment to the community, ability to overcome challenges.

Using the criteria below, nominate candidates or self nominate for these two prestigious awards that will be presented at the Heartland Partnership Annual Meeting on October 6, 2010 at the Peoria Civic Center Ballroom. A committee of Chamber staff, volunteers, board members, Busey Bank and Heartland Bank representatives will select the award recipients.
Deadline to submit is Friday, August 13, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.

OUTSTANDING SMALL BUSINESS AWARD for a company with 1-25 employees

• Must be a member of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce
• Nominee should not be a division, non - profit, subsidiary, or franchise of a company.
• Nominee should have been in operation in the tri-county area for at least five years.

OUTSTANDING SMALL BUSINESS AWARD for a company with 26-150 employees
• Must be a member of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce
• Nominee should not be a division, non - profit, subsidiary, or franchise of a company.
