Jim McConoughey rappeled from the Civic Center Plaza in Peoria, IL on Friday July 23, 2010 in hopes of raising money for Boy Scouts.  Jim McConoughey rappelled 12 stories to raise over $1,000.  This is a great commemoration of the 100th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America.

The money raised will to go ScoutREACH.  Today, young people are faced with many challenges. Too often, they live in fragile families and disintegrating neighborhoods.  ScoutREACH meets the developmental needs of youth in urban settings ensuring culturally diverse youth have the opportunity to join the Scouting program regardless of their financial situation.
