The employment picture has been improving in the Peoria area, driven by a gain in manufacturing...

Peoria metro unemployment lowest since December of 2008.  You have to go all the way back to December of 2008 to find unemployment in the Peoria metro area lower than it is now.

MSN Real Estate ranks Peoria among the "10 Best Places for Starting Over".  Peoria ranks #6 among midsize to large cities, saying Peoria has some of the best job prospects and most affordable mortgage payments.

Aaron Schock recently hosted a D.C. Fly-In where people from his district got an inside look at Washington.

We were hoping a strong message that Illinois is prepared to change it's business climate, we think we came up short..."

Peoria's budget situation is not unique, the key is generating revenue by attracting new business to the area...and that means getting creative.

The Director of the Illinois River Road National Scenic Byway is hoping the national program isn’t diminished in the next federal transportation bill.
