The City of Peoria Complete Count Committee has Census Yard Signs available for display, to aid in creating an awareness of the Census throughout the community.  Signs can be delivered, just contact Shannon Techie at 494-8649 or stechie@ci.peoria.il.us to indicate how many signs you would like.  

 
The guidelines to follow for the placement of the signs are:
•    Signs need to be placed on private property (not in the right-of-way).
•    Permission of the property owner/occupant needs to be obtained before placing the signs 
•    The owner/occupant will need to take down the signs by April 30th and dispose of them. 
•    The signs need to be placed in visible locations, with the majority on primary thoroughfares or higher traffic areas of the neighborhood
