Excel>erate Program

The EXCELelerate Campaign is a five year growth and prosperity initiative to move the region from good to excellent.  We are building future prosperity and making our region an even better place to live.  There are several initiatives to this campaign.

First: promote economic development.  We continually work on retention and expansion opportunities for the businesses already in our region, while at the same time promote the assets of the region to potential new businesses. 

Second: create a business climate that is conducive to success.  We work collaboratively to create a business environment that will support business expansion, attraction and retention in the region.

Third:  enhance our regional image.  We want to position this region as vibrant and attractive to future and existing employees and businesses.  It is proven that the community where a person will live weighs in heavily on their career decision.  We believe if employees want to live in this region it is a benefit for businesses. 

Fourth: promote community vibrancy.  By enhancing the regional quality of life for those who are in our community, it will help us to continue moving this region from a good one, to an excellent one.
