The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce along with 17 other regional chambers took Greater Peoria's issues to the Illinois General Assembly.  Nearly 90 people met with legislators and/or key committee staff members on issues including Public pension reform; workers compensation reform; extension of the Enterprise Zones; Unemployment Insurance Reform; Extension of the research and development tax credit; and Medicaid cost reductions.
