Join the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Friday, November 20th, 2009 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the 34th Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon, sponsored by CEFCU at the Embassy Suites & Riverfront Conference Center.

The Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon is a time to be thankful for the wealth of progress taking place in our region. The guest spaeker will be Michael Bryant, CEO of Methodist Hospital.

In addition to discussion on the numerous major building projects happening here in Central Illinois Bryant wish highlight the previous year’s economic achievements. This year we will also focus on the commitment of this community to follow through with the Peoria Renaissance plan that began in 2002.

During the Luncheon, the Tom Connor Award for Volunteer Community Service, sponsored by Mass Mutual Financial Group, will be presented to a tri-county volunteer who has shown outstanding long-term commitment to the community.

Also, the Community Wealth Award, sponsored by CEFCU, will be presented at the luncheon. This award recognizes the segment of our community that works every day to enhance community wealth.
